KNOWLEDGE LEVELS OF MEDICAL STUDENTS RELATED TO AIRWAY MANAGEMENT IN PATIENTS WITH MAXILLOFACIAL TRAUMA

Objective
 Airway management in maxillofacial injuries is quite complex and involves many difficulties. The aim of this study to evaluate the knowledge level medical faculty students about airway injuries.
 Methods
 This cross-sectional was conducted on fifth sixth-grade Faculty Medicine, Afyonkarahisar Health Sciences University. After literature review, a questionnaire prepared measure trauma. Two hundred eighty participated study. 
 Results
 Thirty percent stated that they performed laryngeal mask (LMA), 61.11% orotracheal intubation, 17.77% nasoendotracheal intubation. four point forty did not do any these applications. Only 52.2% used traditional laryngoscope with Macintosh blades. While 81.1% intubate at all patient trauma, 74.4% thought trauma have education skills perform intubation comfortably.
 Conclusion
 Results reveal students' experience emergencies such as were insufficient. deficiency especially tools methods provide patency.
